]]> Sun, 20 Oct 2024 05:00:00 GMT WEBINAR - IAEI NEC Grounding & Bonding Part 7 Equipment Grounding Conductors - October 24, 2024 https://boaf.net/events/eventdetails.aspx?id=1843481 https://boaf.net/events/eventdetails.aspx?id=1843481 NEC Grounding & Bonding Part 7 of 9: Equipment Grounding Conductors:  The course will begin with a review of the defined terms equipment grounding conductor, ground, ground fault, and effective ground fault current path.  Equipment grounding conductors will then be analyzed.  This will include a review of ungrounded systems, types of equipment grounding conductors and sizing of equipment grounding conductors in accordance with Table 250.122.  The discussion will then move to equipment grounding of enclosures.  Included will be a review of service raceways and enclosures, bonding jumpers, other than service raceways and enclosures, fixed equipment, cord and plug connected equipment, ranges and clothes dryers.

]]> Wed, 13 Nov 2024 05:00:00 GMT WEBINAR - IAEI NEC Grounding & Bonding Part 8 Special Occupancies and Equipment: November 14, 2024 https://boaf.net/events/eventdetails.aspx?id=1843482 https://boaf.net/events/eventdetails.aspx?id=1843482 NEC Grounding & Bonding Part 8 of 9: Special Occupancies and Equipment:  This course will review grounding and bonding requirements associated with special occupancies and special equipment.  The discussion will begin with a review of grounding and bonding in hazardous classified locations including static electricity and wiring methods.  The discussion will then focus on grounding and bonding in health care facilities, including patient care spaces, patient bed locations, isolated ground receptacles, and panelboards.  Next, grounding and bonding in agricultural buildings will be examined,  included the insulated equipment grounding conductor, stray voltage, and equipotential planes.  Lastly, equipotential bonding of swimming pools will be examined, including terminations, corrosive environments, wiring methods, conductive pool shells and perimeter surfaces.
