Day 1:

           Special Inspections and Tests - 1 hour, BCAIB No. 5008215

           Interior Environments - 1 hour, BCAIB No. 5008080

           Swimming Pools - 3 hours, BCAIB No. 5008083

           State Regulations for Educational Facilities - 1 hour, BCAIB No. 5008082

Day 2:

           Types of Construction, Building Heights and Areas - 4 hours

           Structural Design, Roof Assemblies and Structures and Soils and Foundations - 3 hours, BCAIB No. 5008366


PLEASE NOTE: This seminar requires a minimum number of participants in order to confirm. If you plan to participate, please confirm your interest by registering to ensure that we are able to offer this class.

This course is open to anyone desire to learn more, including those utilizing BOAF’s 40-hour Internship course. To meet BOAF Cross Training program requirements, you must apply and be accepted into the BOAF Cross Training Program before you may begin taking courses to meet program requirements. Taking the courses before you have been admitted to the program may result in additional training time and fees. Contact with questions or to confirm your program enrollment.


CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Any registration cancelled more than 10 days prior to the start of the scheduled course will receive a refund minus a $25.00 administrative fee. Cancellations less than 10 days before the class will receive a 50% tuition refund. Registration transfers will incur a $25 administration fee. No shows will not receive a refund. To transfer a registration, please contact BOAF's Training Department.
