This 14-hour block of training for Plumbing Cross Training and Internship Participants includes Special Piping, Storage Systems and Grey Water Recycling Systems, Florida Building Code for Accessibility and Energy Conservation, Roof Drainage and the Sizing of Water System Piping, Introduction to Plumbing, General Regulations, Plumbing and Indirect/Special Waste, Traps, Interceptors and Separators and Vents.

This 14-hour block of training for Plumbing Cross Training and Internship Participants includes:

Day 1:

           Intro to Plumbing – 1 hour

           General Regulations, Plumbing – 2 hours, BCAIB No. 5008226

           Indirect/Special Waste - 1 hour, BCAIB No. 5008220

           Traps, Interceptors and Separators - 1 hour, BCAIB No. 5008222

           Vents – 2 hours, BCAIB No.  5008227

Day 2:

           Special Piping, Storage Systems and Grey Water Recycling Systems – 2 hours

           Florida Building Code for Accessibility and Energy Conservation – 3 hours, BCAIB No. 5008063

           Roof Drainage and the Sizing of Water System Piping – 2 hours, BCAIB No. 5008085


These courses are required components of the BOAF Cross Training Plumbing Programs and may be used towards the BOAF 40-hour Plumbing Courses for interns (interns may not earn CEs). 

PLEASE NOTE: This seminar requires a minimum number of participants in order to confirm. If you plan to participate, please confirm your interest by registering to ensure that we are able to offer this class.

Plumbing Inspector & Plans Examiner
2015 International Plumbing Code or 6th Edition (2017) Florida Plumbing Code
2015 International Residential Code or 6th Edition (2017) Florida Residential Code
2015 International Fuel Gas Code or 6th Edition (2017) Florida Fuel Gas Code

This course is open to anyone desire to learn more, including those utilizing BOAF’s 40-hour Internship course. To meet BOAF Cross Training program requirements, you must apply and be accepted into the BOAF Cross Training Program before you may begin taking courses to meet program requirements. Taking the courses before you have been admitted to the program may result in additional training time and fees. Contact info@boaf.net with questions or to confirm your program enrollment.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Any registration cancelled more than 10 days prior to the start of the scheduled course will receive a refund minus a $25.00 administrative fee. Cancellations less than 10 days before the class will receive a 50% tuition refund. Registration transfers will incur a $25 administration fee. No shows will not receive a refund. To transfer a registration, please contact BOAF's Training Department.
