Call for Presentations

Five Tech Talks will be presented at the BOAF Emerging Tech event. Each presentation will be presented a total of two times over the 2-day event.

If you are a provider of technology for the building construction space, consider sponsoring this event and presenting a professional development session. Examples of content may include: electronic signatures, paperless plans submittal, electronic permitting, the use of drones in building code compliance, building information modeling - this is your opportunity to tell us about your company's innovative technology!

Tech Talk: Professional Development Breakout Session/Sponsorship Proposal Form

Breakout sessions will be reviewed by the Professional Development & Education Committee (PDEC). In creating a vendor-neutral session, please plan for a 75-minute session that will include 50-minutes of educational content plus a question/answer session. If selected, your sponsorship package will include recognition as a sponsor onsite, in the program guide and on the BOAF Emerging Tech Website, a tabletop exhibit throughout the event and during Tuesday's reception, and an Ignite Session during Wednesday's Networking Luncheon,  Sessions should be vendor-neutral but include enough details that continuing education unites will be obtainable from state licensure boards and through ICC's Preferred Provider Program. Include an upload of a timed outline. Selections for sessions will be notified by June 15, at which time the $2,500 sponsorship fee will be invoiced. If selected, BOAF will require a high-resolution copy of sponsor logos for promotional purposes.
